My background is a combination of Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy.  I have been a licenced PTA for 10 years, and a Licensed Massage Therapist for 8 years.  I currently teach bodywork and kinesiology in the Massage Therapy Program at Elgin Community College in Elgin, Illinois.  I maintain a practice of in-home massage for women and couples, as well offering on-site massage services to a variety of businesses.  My background in Physical Therapy gives me an added understanding of the many conditions and pathologies that so many people are living with, as well as a well-trusted referral network of Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and Orthopedic Surgeons when I know something that I am presented with is out of my scope of practice.
